Mexican Grilled Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1½ cups of orange juice
  • 3 toasted guajillo peppers
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of achiote powder
  • 1 whole chicken

Instructions

  1. Step 1) Add Mazola® Corn Oil, orange juice, guajillo peppers, garlic, salt, cumin, achiote powder, and vinegar in the blender.
  2. Step 2) Blend until combined.
  3. Step 3) Before adding the marinade, separate the chicken skin using a spoon.
  4. Step 4) Pour the marinade between the chicken and skin before covering the entire chicken.
  5. Step 5) Let the chicken marinate for at least two hours.
  6. Step 6) Once finished marinating, butterfly the chicken before placing it on the grill.
  7. Step 7) Grill for about 50–60 minutes and enjoy!
