Chicken Adobo Tacos Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 guajillo chiles
  • 2 ancho chiles
  • 2 arbol chiles
  • 3 peppercorns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ¼ onion
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ½ tablespoon Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • Tortillas
  • Cilantro

Instructions

  1. Step 1) Clean and devein all your chiles.
  2. Step 2) Boil chiles until soft.
  3. Step 3) Add all chiles into a blender along with garlic cloves, onion, peppercorns and water.
  4. Step 4) In a hot pan, drizzle your Mazola® Corn Oil.
  5. Step 5) Brown chicken on both sides and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Step 6) Once brown add sauce.
  7. Step 7) Let simmer until the sauce thickens.
  8. Step 8) Place chicken in tortillas and add your favorite toppings.
