Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup loosely packed, fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated lemon peel
  • 1 clove fresh minced garlic
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until slightly thickened about 30 seconds. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 48 hours.
